Gain a Qualification

When joining one of our five day voyages crew are able gain an RYA Competent Crew Qualification, which is the perfect introduction to life at sea. Those studying towards a Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award can also gain the Residential element of the award, during a five day voyage.

Pushed for time? Don’t worry; crew can pick up an RYA Start Yachting qualification in a weekend.

Although these qualifications may never be formally used for sailing purposes, they do represent a level of individual attainment and personal development which can be excellent supporting evidence for university applications and job interviews.
